Trades (5)

3B/2B Joseph Michalski - 2006, from Florida with Robert Leavy for Ted Wine and Wendell Sorg (!)
SS/IF Reggie Perez: 2006, from New York with Albert Campbell, Tony Chancellor and Michael Woolsey for John Redman (!!) and McKinley Donaldson
SP Deandre Desrosiers - 2007, from Houston for Dennis Chase
C Willie Kenna - 2008, from Hickory for Roger Ward and Michael Woolsey
RP Maria Coronado - 2008, from Walla Walla for David McKibben and Bill Crespin

The Magical Roster Expansion of 2003 (7)

C Carlos Barrera
2B/SS Robert Ramsey
SS Gerald Sukeyasu
OF David Rivard
SP Santos Gonzalez
RP Teodoro Amaral
RP Norman Fuentes

Among the seven players I have on my current roster that were randomly generated in 2003, I have:

  • An all-star SS who hit .370 in his rookie season (Ramsey)
  • An all-star C who has a career batting average of .315 (Barrera)
  • A 4.5 star closer (Fuentes)
  • My #3 starter (Gonzalez)
And there would be eight if I hadn't traded away current ERA leader Chad Nelligan to Hickory in 2005.

  1. Ahh, the Sorg for Michalsky trade; without a doubt, the best deal I've ever made.
