  1. Seven games back, Michael. How you feeling about your chances, now? Still talking big?

  2. Yeah, and he's in fourth, too... that's gotta hurt.
Somehow I'm managing to hang with you, Nate... I'm not exactly sure how....

And I see Zev's still maintaining that ridiculous road record. If you want to see some bizarre home/road splits, check out Turek, Manning and Foster.

  3. Gotta love the 5/31/10 19-inning game between Hickory and Denver. I'm amazed they didn't run out of pitchers. I guess that's the virtue (for Hickory) of having a 13-man pitching staff: you have nine guys available in games like this one. Of course, four Huskers' position players are reporting in as tired, so there's a downside too.

As for Zev's home field disadvantage, I really want some kind of in-depth scoop reporting on what the Brooklyn "fans" are doing to that poor, poor team.

P.S. As a final note, I'd like to suggest that Saskatoon and Brooklyn can now stop pretending to be this frickin' good. I'd like to engage in some roster shenanigans for economic advantage and I need a reasonable lead to do so. Thank you.

  4. The Commissioner's Office is hereby announcing that the Brooklyn Wolves stadium is being closed for... hazardous conditions (yeah, that's the ticket) and will be playing the rest of their schedule on the road.

Please forward the trophy to Brooklyn . Thank you.

  5. No, not at all. I had an issue with blogger and Gmail and had to test my login. No pressure implied, sorry.
