We've Moved!!

I've moved the league to a new home. We're now on the Steinhardtfamily.com domain. The league reports can be found here.

Please download a new copy of the league file here. Do not use the old league file, as you will not be able to export your team or download future changes.

Next sim will be Wednesday. Any questions? Feel free to ask.

  1. Okay, now that I have the league file, I can finally see the holes in my team. Hopefully Elizade will patch the bullpen, and Machado can fill in the rotation until Carballo returns.

But, 3B? Ugh. I'm going to see how Joseph Barnett does, but I'm definitely open to trade offers.

  2. Anyone else getting an error on the file? I can't load the DB. The system says it's old or corrupt.

  3. Nate, I had the same problem. I noted there was something funky in the unzipping. The real league folder somehow ended up as a subfolder. When I copied and pasted that out as a folder directly into the save_games folder, it worked.

And now that Lutz has rejected what is likely my best and final contract offer, it looks like next year is going to have a true stud free agent to offer. Much like the Cleveland Indians in Major League, there's nothing else for it but to try to win the whole damn thing.

  4. Nope, Mack. I deleted, redownloaded, and unzipped again. The file structure looks good but it bombs out at the names file.

Hmm. My zip file appears to not have contained a 'names' file...which would certainly cause the problem with loading! I'm in the game now, though I have no message...

OK. I just uploaded. Cross your fingers!

PS, when are we having a sim? I'm off the boards at Disney, baby, starting late Friday for a week.

  5. Sadly, no, Michael. I checked.

You ain't the only one looking for a 3B for a couple of months. Losing Quijada until mid-July smarts.
