Assuming Nate and I take two of the playoff berths (which seems reasonable), it looks to me as though nine teams are battling for two playoff berths. Should be a competitive end to the season.
If anyone is looking for some starting pitching for the playoff push, I'm going to be looking to deal Cohen, Matthias, or Macaluso. I'm looking for prospects and/or draft picks back. Primarily a 1B or an infielder.
Well, I am over .500, exceeding my wildest expectations for this season. I have the top ERA and BA in the league somehow, and I have some good players that are ready to come up to the majors when I can figure out how to get them up there. Losing Pearsall for the season is going to hurt, but I think that Fay and Santos can dust off their walkers and fill in for the injured Steamer.
I have also already surpassed my attendance from last season (by 225K), up 12.2% according to the game, so the fans in Cleveland are enjoying their over .500 team. Keep it up boys and let's get that wildcard spot.
