Huge draft night for the future of the Monarchs franchise. I think we have five of the top 14 picks (2, 7, 11, 12, 14). The draft looks pretty good to my scout. Hope he's right.
ReplyDeleteEither the foundation of the next dynasty will be laid in this draft, or there will have to be some changes in the Monarchs' front office. There have been a number of prospects either drafted or acquired in trades at the request of the head scout in the last few years who have failed, or are currently failing, to live up to their glowing reports. I'm looking at you, Messrs. Hill, Fenster, and Evans. Yes, you.
Hum, it looks pretty crappy by my scout, but I have not given him much of a budget in the past few years. Only time will tell...
