Seattle rookie RF Jonathan Anderson wins Player of the Week (in only his second week in the majors)

Significant Injuries:Hickory RF Paul Shunk fractured his ribs and will be out for four weeks.

Milestones:
Cleveland 3B Ronald Quijada drove in his 1000th run, becoming the 17th player to reach the goal
Christopher Moss, of Hickory, becomes the all-time leader in at-bats (7366) , hits (2164) and runs (1315), passing Lincoln Rossetti, Gregory Mudge and Luis Jeon respectively.
