New York LF Armando Cedeno fractured a foot and will miss four weeks.

Dong Lutz scored his 1500th run, becoming only the second person (after Luis Jeon) to reach that mark.

Not quite sure how I got here... Luis Jeon is lost over 300 points of OPS from his record-breaking year last year; my shortstop has an OPS of .541; and my up-and-coming young starter Kevin Lambert is enjoying a 2-8 season with an ERA of 5.15.
I guess this is offset by the solid starting pitching of my two veteran FA signs, Jeffrey Brunton and Dario Lopez; the continued emergence of young infielders Gene Reynolds and Larry McCormick; and the second straight solid season by journeyman OF Malcolm Birdsell.
The fans in New York are beginning to dream of the possibility of the first winning season in nine years for the Gothams...
I eat humble pie for breakfast this morning. I fully expected my Lenape to romp through this sim, and instead finished 5-9. I haven't fully looked through the box scores yet, but I believe the main fault is with my starting pitching.
