Hickory LF Bo Rice has a torn labrum and is done for the year.

... that despite Seattle's runaway success this year (79-32, .712), there are two teams that have a winning record (so far) against the Monarchs -- Hickory (7-5) and Shackamaxon (5-4).
Next sim: Next Sunday, when we will sim to 8/15. That also means that this sim is the trade deadline.
Hester needs 23 more wins to reach 300 for his career. I have two years remaining on his contract after this one to get him there. I hope he doesn't fall apart first, because it would be really cool to have someone get 300 wins, all with the same team.
