Seattle Sweeps, Monarchs Once Again Wear The Crown

The Seattle Monarchs completed their sweep of the Brick Barracudas to win their 14th(!) Cecil Cup championship.  1B Luis Lozano was named the Cecil Cup MVP.  Congratulations to Mack on another well-played season.

We'll give Mack a few days to revel in the championship and resume operations with the first off-season sim on Monday night.

  1. Congrats to Mack on continuing to be the class of the league, and for playing a great season. The Metcalf trade was a stroke of brilliance, and it paid off in the postseason.

Also a great season by Brick and kudos to Fred to managing his team. It's a shame that Archuleta was hurt but you still made it to the Cecil Cup and won 101 games.

It's been a fun season, everyone. Let's do it again soon!

  2. Congratulations to Fred on another strong season in Brick. That's a really good team that you've put together. It's just good luck that I had a completely healthy team at the end, and you didn't.
