ReplyDeleteI also support the Frank Nunn Escape Clause being offered to any new owners, should that be needed for the Norfolk or Atlanta franchises.
Finally, I propose the "Logan Francis Return Rule" whereby any exceedingly awesome prospects who are traded away, and whose new teams become controlled by the computer less than one season later, are allowed to be reacquired by the old team for their highest draft pick available to be traded.
Admittedly, I don't expect a lot of support from my fellow owners for this rule, but maybe I could get it passed in the dead of night by a 1-0 vote or something. Wait. The computer tells me it wants this rule too. The vote could be 3-0.
I checked last night after I ran the sim, and neither Atlanta nor Norfolk have any onerous contracts on the board after 2030. I still think the Frank Nunn Clause is a good idea, in general, for future new owners.
DeleteI also think the Logan Francis Return Rule should be forgotten. Wait until Atlanta has a new owner and trade for him back, Mack. :)
