Antelope Valley has dealt long time, middle of the lineup fixture, 35 year old OF Ray McJannett to the Philadelphia Hornets for AAA CF Juan Romero and a 4th round pick. "With the club in rebuilding mode, we felt it was best to move Ray while he still had a chance to go to a contender and maybe win a title. We'll miss his bat and steady presence in the clubhouse" said GM Sauerwald, "But we feel we need to move on and stock some young talent."
