We've had some retirements this sim, including longtime reliever Manual Alvarado, Hector Orozco, closer Harold Beeks (who, with 297 saves, retires in X place on the all-time list) and SP Anthony Koepp.

Given the reduced innings that relievers throw now, it's hard to see anyone ever catching Cuomo.
I am probably biased, but I see Cuomo as the Mariano Rivera of our league. Virtually unhittable and dominant for 15+ seasons.
ReplyDeleteWhile I don't think he'll hold the VORP and saves records forever, I think he'll be remembered as one of the greatest pitchers in our game, many seasons from now.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'd be fine with increasing the number of days per sim. The new budgets have been set and things seem to be running smoothly.
