  1. A record 127 wins for the Monarchs this season. I can't imagine putting together a better team. Even if they lose in the playoffs, this has been an astounding season.

Good luck to Zev, Michael, and Matt and let's see what the short-sample-size gods decide.

  2. Whew. Great job by Fred to challenge me, but I'm thrilled I held him off for my first-ever wild card appearance. My team is back in the post season for the first time since I capped my dynasty-clinching 4th straight Cup at the end of the 2007 season, fifteen seasons and two team moves ago.

I'm pleased, too, with ending the season on a six game winning streak. Good luck to Mack, Zev, and even Matt.

  4. Thanks Matt. However, considering:

    a. I'm facing Seattle
    b. In 20 seasons, I have yet to win a playoff series

I wouldn't place all your bets on me to win. :)

  5. That just means that you're due, Zev!

  6. That's odd, I fully expected Mack to once again argue in favor of his "coin flip" theory. :)

  7. I think Mack is glad he's not facing me, after our last two meetings in the postseason. :)

  8. I invoked the small-sample-size gods. I consider my work here done.
