I didn't get to run the sim on Thursday night. In addition, I have a question regarding the Rule V draft to adjudicate. I'll go into details once I have a decision.
We'll try again on Saturday night.

No Sim Last Night...
I was at work until very late last night and did not get to run the sim.
However, that's probably for the best anyway, as more than one owner told me that they didn't feel that they had enough time to prepare for the Rule V draft.
So, we'll try again on Wednesday night.

First Sale of the Offseason
The first purchase from Seattle's Bargain Bin has been made. Pitcher Kieran Dickson heads to Hickory to help the Huskers turn around their disappointing 2021 campaign in exchange for a measley fourth-round pick.
Seattle can still provide a solid back-up catcher or left-handed bat off the bench to any interested and/or rebuilding team. Both are available even more cheaply than Mr. Dickson was.

CF wanted
Shackamaxon is looking to augment its up-and-coming team with a CF. Ideally that player has good defense and gets on base a lot. Power and/or speed would be nice, but not required.
I have a little bit of salary room so I'm not afraid of a veteran. I have a few good usable young players and prospects I'd consider dealing for the right player.

Seattle's Bargain Bin
I have some guys available that are not great players, but could be solid role/bench players. They're superfluous in Seattle and so are available cheaply for a fringy low-level prospect or a not-high draft pick. Let me know if you're interested in any of these guys.
Catcher Kevin Craig. Kevin is 32. He has been the backup catcher in Seattle for six years now. He is fine, not great. Basically two wins above replacement in a little more than a full-season of playing time spread out over his career. He is under contract for one more year at $850K, so he's not expensive. He's not a starter for a great team, but is solid depth. He's also eminently expendable given the strong year Roberto Perez had for me at AAA. I know catching is a strong position right now in the league, but if you need a solid backup for a cheap price, he's your man.
Pitcher Kieran Dickson. I really don't know how good Dickson is, but I don't really have a spot for him to find out either. He had a 1.91 ERA in 89.1 innings in AAA and then a 3.09 ERA in 23 innings in the majors. He seems to be better after moving to the new version, but what do I know? I do know that he doesn't give up home runs. He has a high movement rating and backed that rating up by giving up only two home runs in 112 innings pitched. Right now he's the 12th man on my pitching staff (and 7th starter) for next year, and I only want to carry 11 guys. He might be a good starting pitcher with a lot of years ahead of him. Someone out there has to be willing to take a chance on him. Maybe you?
First baseman Ki-Chun Kang. Kang is 26 and has torn up AAA in the three years since I signed him as a international free agent. He has good power and could be a good left-handed bench bat. Unfortunately for him, he's something like fourth in line at first base for me. Again, maybe someone else could make use of him.
Are any of these guys great? Almost certainly not. Would they help at least some teams? I think so. They don't have clear places though in Seattle. If you think they can help your team, let's make it work.
P.S. If someone thinks they're a very good SP away from a deep playoff run and want to trade for the missing link, let me know. I could be talked into moving James Turner in the right deal.
