There's a great dearth of players named Antonio Gonzales in the league, and as it happens, I have both of them as outfield prospects in my minor league system.
That's caused quite a bit of confusion here in the Lenape front office, so I wouldn't mind trading one of them.
In AAA, is this Antonio Gonzales. He's a decent prospect, will be 21 this season, and showed some potential with the bat in limited play last season. He's currently forecast to be my #4 outfielder in AAA.
His namesake in AA is this Antonio Gonzales. This one is two years older than the other, but might be a better prospect, as he is a plus defender, and hit well as a starter last season (114 OPS+). He's going to be the starting CF for Kalmar this upcoming season if he isn't traded.
If you want both, and the confusion that comes with having them, I'd be willing to deal them together. I'm not looking for anything in particular in return, so shoot me an offer (and specify which player you want!).
Trade issues aside, do you want me to give one a nickname or a middle initial?
ReplyDeleteIf I can't trade one, can you maybe rename one of them? Like, make the one in AAA Hector Gonzales? If you can't, I can live with it, as I had three players named Ricardo Sanchez on my 2021 AAA team.
