I thought you'd all find this interesting. Imagine a season where your only players were Adam Dunn, Dee Gordon, Bartolo Colon and Koji Ueharas -- and your entire team consisted of clones of one of those players?

Now I want to kill a weekend and set up and run an entire league of single-player teams. I'd be especially interested in teams of Miguel Olivos, Munenori Kawasakis, and Yuniesky Betancourts.

ReplyDeleteAnd on the subject of setting up a fictional league, I think I'd make a 12 team league - 1 team each of 1B, 2B, etc, plus a lefty starter, a righty starter, and a closer/other reliever. I wonder if OOTP knows that Danny Worth throws a mean knuckleball - if so, my money is on the team of Danny Worths.
I'd love to see how many wild pitches/passed balls a team of Ben Reveres would have. I don't think he can throw a ball 60.5 feet.
