The Seattle Monarchs forced a seventh game in the Cecil Cup series by defeating the Shackamaxon Lenape 8-1.
The Monarchs got off to a quick start, scoring three runs before Lenape starter Ivan Gallardo even retired a batter on a home run by Masahide Ueda. Seattle added five more in the eighth to secure the victory.
Game 7: Saturday night
Back home in time for the one-game, winner-take-all spectacle. The streak of alternating wins this series leaves me less than fully confident, but it should be a fun show.
