The sim's done, league file updated, but I didn't get a chance to update the front page.
Game of the weeks: Covington 6, River Cities 5 on 7/26/2008. This one was a 21 inning affair. It's not everyday that you see linescores such as 1 for 9 (Palacio) and 0 for 8 (Dupree & K. Smith). It's also not everyday that you see relievers go such long distances as Alex Pedroza going 6 innings.
Any game that Nate loses is the game of the week.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, it seems like he's only losing once per week.
If I manage to pull this one out, I'll impress myself.
I haven't looked yet. I must have done well this time.
ReplyDeleteHad a chance to look at that sucker now! Hoowee!
ReplyDeletePedroza through better and more pitches than my **** starter, John Starner. And that with an endurance of 1!
Let's try not to do that again!
With River Cities' 12-2 run this sim, I'm beginning to think that I'll be losing the Cecil Cup to Nate this year, rather than to Michael.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least that will be something different. I've already gotten swept by Michael and lost when I had a big lead in the series. It's obviously time to have my heart broken in a new and exciting way.
For reasons best left off a public forum I am SOO looking forward to beating you, Mack.
ReplyDeleteYeah, like that will make you special. Everyone wins when they play me in the Cecil Cup.
ReplyDeleteOkay, now, I'm determined.
ReplyDeleteMack, you're mine come October.
(Sorry, Nate.)
50 games to go, Michael. 50 games to go.
ReplyDeleteI'll play 21 innings every day if I can keep pulling them out. Yes, that's the problem, there just aren't enough innings in baseball. . .that explains all my woes this season.
