Spring Training was run last night and the first sim for the season will be on Wednesday night.
Please have your rosters up to date by the time the sim is run.
Please note: If your roster has problems that prevents the sim from running, I will correct the problem myself. I will attempt to do what I think is best for the team.

So, I expect that what will be best for the mighty Seattle Monarchs will be to release Nelligan, Hester, and Mudge? Better update my file.
ReplyDelete(Kidding, only kidding.)
Nah... they'll be traded to the Wolves for Vernon Larry. :)
ReplyDeleteTHE Vernon Larry!
ReplyDeleteWow, you must really want Nelligan, Hester and Mudge.
Great! So, do we have a deal?
ReplyDeleteZev
No. I'd hate to take advantage of you like that. I couldn't live with the guilt. I'll muddle through with what I have.
ReplyDeleteZev, on a more serious note, I'd implore you to step in when there's a roster totally out of whack. I'd hate to see another Covington 2009 season where the owner just stops paying attention and the line-up enters the theater of the absurd.
ReplyDeleteAt least make sure that the teams start the season with enough players (position players and starting pitchers in particular) to fill out their line-up, bench, and rotation. If nothing else, just run the computer manager for any owners who's rosters are not complete.
Actually, you're not the first owner to contact me about this.
ReplyDeleteThe rule I'm going to apply is this: if a team is simply missing a player or doesn't have one position filled, I'm going to leave it alone. If, however, the team is clearly the victim of neglect, I'm going to allow the computer to take over.

Unlike some teams that shall remain nameless, I'm confident I can beat both the Covingtons and Seattles of the SDMB OOTP league, inflated winning percentages aside.
