Well, a 7-3 streak isn't good enough to catch Nate, so I might as well congratulate him in advance for winning the Zotti title. And, Mack knows full well what it's like to dominate during the rest of the season and face a team that won't lose in September, don't you?
I am pleased that Luis Jeon returned from the DL with his bat on fire, and that Thomas Brasfield has rewarded my faith in the rotation.
Finally, the incredible Junior Cuomo, after spending two above-average months in the rotation, has given up 4 ER since returning to the closer's role and has saved the most games in the Zotti League. Is there any doubt he's the best pitcher in the game?
(Umm, that's rhetorical. Kind of like "Has there been a better team than the 2005 Stockholm Sluggers?")
Well, with 16 games to go, it looks like we'll have another record match-up, in that both River Cities and Seattle will likely post the two best records in league history and possibly the best Pythagorean records as well.
I wish my team was peaking instead of coasting. I don't know how much OOTP uses momentum or past performance in its calculations and I'd hate for the Cup to swing simply on the fact that I was hot early and Nate was hot late.
P.S. While I'll give you Cuomo, the 2005 Stockholm team would have been FLATTENED if it went up against the squads Nate and I have rolled out the last couple years.
