Well, it's down to the wire in the Zotti League. With only five left to play, New York is four down. Can they pull off the biggest upset in the history of the league?
In other news, the password issue (which is resolved) caused me so much grief that I forgot to make the free agent offers that people sent in. I'll do them for the next sim.
Don't forget that New York and I face each other twice over those last five games. A nail biter for sure.
ReplyDeleteAnd will Juan Villatoro win the pitching triple crown this year? If he can move ahead in strike outs in his last start he will!
Is this the closest race since 2007 when Trevor won on the last day of the regular season, I lost, and Saskatoon finished one game ahead of Seattle?
ReplyDelete[Shakes fist at Trevor, once again]
That's it, I want to return Junior Cuomo, he walked someone in the last sim!
ReplyDeleteWell, I still have a chance, but now I've lost my star shortstop Chester Cohen for the rest of the regular season. I guess I can't complain that much with Nate having lost Hukill for much longer.
It'll take a minor miracle, but stranger things have happened.
And man, I thought my fan interest would at least be in the 60's by now.
Don't forget, Mack, that BOTH races were one game affairs at the end. You guys ended at 101-100 and Michael and I ended at 97-96, I think.
ReplyDeletePaul: Deal! I'll take him back.
ReplyDeleteNate: I seem to remember clinching in 2007 before the last day of the season, however.
I'm getting a good idea who's going to be on the 2013 Scorpions team. One of the many prospects I've acquired this year (who didn't get a season-ending injury post-trade), Marvin Heilman, has earned himself a starting job next season, methinks.
