  1. This is an insanely close race this year. Eight teams within five games of a playoff berth! Fantastic stuff.

With a line-up change being made for the next sim, I've now got only two people in my starting line-up who are older than 26. It would be pretty thrilling to me if such a young team is able to keep the Monarchs' playoff streak alive.

  2. ... and I'm ten or so games out, with a winning record!

  3. What a weird, disappointing-yet-not season in Hickory so far. First place by two games, with a losing record. I can't even figure out why my team is playing so poorly - well, an unusually awful season by Richard Shipp isn't helping, but generally this is a more productive team than last year's team, which won 90 games. Weird.
