Wow. The salary demands from some of the draft prospects are really, startlingly high. $9M a year? I think this is going to widen the gulf between the teams with large financial resources and the teams without same; I'm not sure how well this will work from a competitive balance standpoint. Hickory, for sure, will not be drafting the guy who wants $9M a year, even if he falls. I don't think I'm a fan of this new feature.
