I feel like I should say something about the Monarchs' insanely great start, but I'm afraid to jinx it. I assume that this is all just setting me up for postseason disappointment in any case.

I don't know what I want more: Seattle to choke in the regular season, or in the post season. Either way, I'll take it!
ReplyDeleteExcept for our menace in the northwest, all is well with the Lenape. Promoting top prospect Miguel Martinez to take over at shortstop for the incumbent Ricky Peppers (starter since 2007!) was the right call. Tweaking my lineup with Martinez in it has not backfired on me. If I can tread water until Elder Guzman recovers from his injury I'll be all right.
Until I play Seattle in the post-season. Long time owners know how that will go.
