Holy crap! In the nobody-will-cry-for-me category of weird events, I had a star outfield prospect, George Webb, announce that he was retiring from baseball to focus on his football career. The 6'3" 195-pound outfielder is going to try to make it as a defensive end in the NFL.
ReplyDeleteI would say more about this, but I would hate to decorate the blog with a string of barely coherent expletives. Webb was my favorite outfield prospect on my team, if not the league.
Since Webb is nothing but a collection of ones and zeroes stored on a hard drive, I feel ok in publicly stating that I hope a left tackle rips his arm off and beats him to death with it during a game.
