One thing that I saw in this sim - London's Russ Singleton no-hit Houston, and Ohio's Joong-geun Yi gave up a single in the first to John Grondin and then proceeded to retire the next 25 batters for an 11K 0BB 1-hitter.
I've decided to shut John Ryan down for the season. He's pitched a career-high number of innings and I've already lost two pitchers to year-long arm injuries.
I see Ryan as the cornerstone of my rotation for the next decade, so I want to keep him healthy, plus I have a lot of young starters I want to evaluate this season, in real game action, while I plan my rotation for next year.
In other news, I'm glad Juan Arroyo is finally living up to his potential. This will give me a good problem to deal with in the coming seasons.
