  1. Things are looking up for the Lenape. We had a 9-6 sim, but lost the six games by a total of 10 runs, including a sweep by Antelope Valley with two 1-run losses and a 2-run loss. We are on target for reaching my optimistic goal of 85 wins this season (my realistic expectation was 81), and if we stay hot, we might reach the upper 80s.

Remarkably, rookie Kieran Jenkins has three complete games in only five starts. Of course, two of those CGs were 8 inning complete game losses, but way to save the bullpen, Kieran!

  2. Just when I thought I might trade for future potential, I reel off a 12-2 sim (with both loses coming in the last two games!). My back end starting pitching still sucks, but if I can get by with 3 starters...

  3. I just noticed that my closer, Anthony White, is the only player drafted in 2027 to reach the majors. No one has reached the majors yet from the 2028 draft (although that will change, at least for me, in the September roster expansion sim).
