... and, most importantly, the upgrade to OOTP 19 is coming.
We will be switching to the new version when the calendar flips, will be after the next sim. The next sim will take us to Dec 31. After that, we will be using OOTP 19, so if you haven't bought it yet, now would be a good time.
Next sim: Tuesday night.
So how do I import an OOTP 17 saved game into 19?
ReplyDeleteWe will post a new game file to unpack into the saved_games directory for OOTP 19.
ReplyDeleteThat didn't really answer the question ;-). I found a thread (plus now I remember from last time) - you have to get a demo OOTP 18, convert to 18 then import into 19. You think they would just program that into the game - being able to import older game files seems pretty straight forward.
DeleteBill,
DeleteYou will not have to do any of the converting. That's what we commissioners will do.
All you will need to do is download the new league file when it's posted and open it using OOTP 19.
Zev, he was asking about converting one of his own leagues, not ours, where we/you will be doing the heavy work.
ReplyDeleteYes. I was asking for my home league
