New York's Jim Edwards was involved in a collision at a base and will sit out about six weeks.

Monck's Corner SS Daniel Burdine will miss six weeks with a fractured wrist.

Milestones:

Brian Frison becomes the third player to reach the 1500 run plateau (just two weeks after teammate Dong Lutz).

Dong Lutz scored his 1500th run, becoming only the second person (after Luis Jeon) to reach that mark.
