  1. Nice sim, Monarchs! A 13-3 run with sweeps of my two main division rivals. Excellent.

  2. I'm averaging twenty losses a month. Wow.

I have losing records against every team except the defending champs. Of course.

It's going to be a long summer in Los Angeles.

  3. Well, not a bad comeback so far. I may be in last but I've closed to only five back and five out of the wildcard. At this point that's a huge stride forward.

  4. You did have a good month Nate, while I had a not so good one. I am trying to figure out what is wrong with my team, and I can't pinpoint it. I hope next month goes a bit better.

As for the divisions and wildcard and interleague play, I really like them all. It ia making for a much more interesting and competitive league. A huge step forward I must say, and I look forward to see who survives the carnage at the end of the season.

  5. Yeah, a bad month (terrible!) against a pretty good month will set up some drama down the road.

    Really. Here's my winning percentages:

    April .321 (52-110 over 162)
    May .621 (100-62 over 162)

Which team is real? Who knows?

  6. In all fairness, I think it's the fact that there's a lot more parity in the league that is the biggest factor in the increased excitement. If we had two teams on 120-win paces (as we have had in the past), there would be a lot less excitement. It's the fact that most teams have gotten better, while River Cities and Seattle have come back to the pack, that has set everything up.

Not that I don't like the new league set-up, because I do. This is proving to be a very interesting season.

  7. I think it is more towards May. We are definatly going to have a 3 dog race through to the end of the season which one or two teams will not make the playoffs. The regular season really does mean something, and this is going to be fun. Now if I can just get my team running right.
