The Scorps have clinched the best record in spring training, but that only means that we'll be 0-0 like everyone else come Wednesday night.
Still, I feel good about my team this year. We won 94 games out of nowhere last year, and I think we're better this year. Is 100 wins possible? Saskatoon looks stronger, and Seattle is always a threat. I'm still optimistic Los Angeles will reach the playoffs, and win one for the thumb.
Thumb? Pffft. I think I'm trying to win one for the big toe at this point. Something like that anyway. :)
Although LA has some good players, I look forward to Michael's bewildered post in August wondering what happened to his promising season, crushed beneath the mighty Monarchs juggernaut. We may have a questionable and inexperienced offense. One that the scouts may not love. Or the stat heads. Or the ordinary fans.
Oh crap, what are we doing? Our offense is really weak. Our reign of division titles is doomed. What will we do? Ahhhhhhhhh.
