My apologies to all for the delay. I needed some information from an owner before I could finish the sim.
Game Date: 4/16/2018
Standings:
Adams: Cleveland leads with a 9-5 record. Brooklyn and Hickory trail by one.
Zotti: Ohio and Seattle sit atop the division with 10-4 records.
Signorino: Maui is one game ahead of Houston and two ahead of Danville and New York
Awards/Accomplishments:
Danville C John Clawson named Player of the Week (4/9)
Brooklyn C Beau Manning named Player of the Week (4/16)
Los Angeles SS Ricky Peppers hits the first cycle since April 2017
Significant Injuries:
Saskatoon RF Maximo Rodriguez is out for three months with a fractured ulna.
Next sim:
Wednesday night
Again, the first place team in the Signorino division doesn't have a better record than the last place team in the Zotti. Unfortunately, the last place team in the Zotti are my Los Angeles Scorpions.
ReplyDeleteA mixup with the seven day lineup led to two starts by relievers in this sim. So, once my rotation settles, I think my team will improve.
FYI, it looks like not all of the messages and box scores are in the upload. If I had to guess, I'd say that the settings from Spring Training weren't updated for the longer sims of the regular season.
ReplyDeleteOne sim and already -2 on the pythagorean record. Sounds about right.
ReplyDeleteFantastic. I've now lost two stud prospects (Ramon and Rodriguez) to debilitating injuries. Apparently CF in Saskatoon is a war zone. Running out of replacement OFs.
ReplyDeleteIt's the land mines I placed out there. I knew that investment with the Lord of War would pay off.
ReplyDeleteEric, I don't think that 2 months is debilitating. It sucks and is inconvenient, but not debilitating :)
ReplyDeleteAs for the Steamers start of the season (in what may be their last in Cleveland), it went exactly as I thought it would. Lots of hitting, a little bit of pitching and winning 2/3 of my games. If I can keep this up the first Cecil Cup may find its place in Cleveland...
