ReplyDeleteI mean, this is ridiculous.
Ouch a 2 win sim...that is not good. I lost 6 one run games in this sim. It needs to turn around quick or I am going to have to trade my high priced talent.
ReplyDeleteA middling sim for the Monarchs. Won the first four, then dropped 7 of 10 to finish 7-7. Still tied for the best record in the league, so I can't complain much. I'm not sure what kind of offense I have though, and that troubles me.
ReplyDeleteAfter struggling to find Joseph Macaluso a new home to make room in the rotation, the debut of SP Enrico "Palazzo" Hernandez was all I could have hoped for. The ERA was high because of three home runs and a horribly unlucky .467 BABIP. But, he walked three and struck out 19 in 10.1 innings pitched. That's fantastic and a far better predictor for future success than the lofty ERA.
I'm beginning to think the Phillies have nothing on my rotation of Placencia, Hester, Vargas, Hernandez, and Morales. (And yes, I recognize those may be fighting words for our resident Phanatic Michael.)
