Holy crap! $6 million for Edwards. I wasn't even in the ballpark!
ReplyDeleteYeah, some players apparently work on the 'greatest fool' theory int hat there'll be SOMEONE to pay an extraordinary amount. I like to think it bites them in the end.
ReplyDeleteThere are some players worth giving a "shock and awe" contract to. Edwards is not one of those players, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI don't necessarily disagree, but I'd rather pay a lot of money to a mediocre player than see it go to waste because of the $10 million cash cap.
ReplyDeleteAll the Piggy smells is your fear.
ReplyDeleteThe Piggy must make it clear that he does not have one contract in the top 25. Besides he took a pay cut and he can hit and field.
The Piggy can afford one player like him and it is not like the Market was overflowing with talent.
