  1. Uhhh, Zev... I think you screwed something up.

I didn't trade Frank Carroll to Walla Walla, much less sell him for $25,000.

(Somehow, and this is how I noticed I was missing Carroll, my team's fan interest jumped 6 points in one sim. I know I got a little boost from signing Starner, but apparently, the rest came from re-acquiring the surprisingly popular Vincent Maney -- yeah, who? -- who was dealt with Carroll to Walla Walla and then sent back. So, I'll take the boost in fan interest, thank you very much, but I'd also like my setup guy back, please, too.)

  2. Yeah, I screwed up... Here's what happened.

LA's pick (ninth) was traded to Seattle. Seattle traded their pick (12th) to Walla Walla.

In addition, the game (for some reason that I can't fathom) has Hickory and Denver swapped in the draft positions.

So, I used the game control to re-order the draft. However, the game has a limitation in that when you re-order the draft, you have to assign each team one pick (i.e., I can't give Walla Walla the two picks it has this round and I can't leave LA out).

So, to solve the problem, I just reworked the draft order so that Seattle had pick nine, Walla Walla had it's pick (6th) and LA (which had no pick this round) got Seattle's pick (12th, which really belonged to Walla Walla). Once LA picked in the 12th pick, I was going to send him over to Walla Walla in a dummy trade (while sending LA the money spent in the signing bonus).

The player taken by LA with the 12th pick was Jesse Carroll. Unfortunately, I sent over the wrong Carroll (Frank) in error.

I'll correct it with the next sim. My apologies and thanks for bringing it to my attention.

  3. No worries, Zev.

I'm going to have a hell of a blog article to write about poor Frank Carroll's experience after this. :)

  4. The Piggy is not happy!!!

The lies you tell to sign players Walla Walla, Denver and River Cities were beyond the pale. The Tuesday night live action role playing of Barney and Friends is optional not mandatory. Money is not everything and love of the Purple sensei can get you through the though times. It is pure pleasure to play for the Piggy. The Piggy is not making threats but when The Evil Salzman comes to Piggy park he best be wearing extra padding. Mr. Evil is banned from the 2003 team celebration.

Also the Piggy knows that it is the Wolves who are leaving the flaming bag of pooh on Piggy’s door steep, taping the Piggy stomping on the bags and posting them on You Tube. Let Piggy be!!!!

    That is all.
