Well that wasn't pretty... I went .500 for the sim, lost my seoond starting second basemen (Simon Reyes) for the year on the first day of the sim, and lost my power hitting RF (Bilbrey) for most of the sim. I still think my 21 game lead in the wild card race is safe.
Only good thing is that I got Frederick Thomas locked up for the next five years. I'm overpaying him for the next two years, which would have been arbritration years, but I do buy out his first three years of free agency at what I think is a reasonable price.
At least the tie is finally resolved. And in the right way! A three game lead with six weeks to go! Take that, New York!
