Trade: Monck's Corner and Ohio

Dateline: The Beautiful South...In a stunning move to cross the aisle and to continue to cross Dixie line cultural understanding the teams from Ohio and Monck's Corner, SC have completed a astonishingly eye-catching deal today!

Monck's Corner is sending a package of three top players, catcher Travis Sparrow, left fielder George Vidal, and center field prospect Zander Boreland to Ohio in return for ace starting pitcher Bruno Talamantez.

Reached on a small craft in the Cypress Garden bayou east of Monck's Corner where he was counting and wrestling alligators said this about the deal, "We needed another quality starter and...GET THAT ONE...Bruno was the guy we knew. GET A LOOK AT THAT RIPPAH... Plus, c'mon, we're trading a guy named 'Sparrow' for a guy named 'Bruno'. It's like we're trading Johnny Depp for Sasha Baron Cohen. How do we NOT win?"

Talamantez, reached on the road had this to say about the deal, "Thank goodness. I know I'm a great pitcher and being stuck on a team like Ohio wasn't doing me any good. When I was coming up in the River Cities system they were always right at the top...what? They're 5-9, too? What? Chupe mantequilla de mi culo! No puedo creer esta mierda!"
