  1. That would be Seattle's Enrico Hernandez who got hurt (after throwing a no-hitter), not Maui's.

  2. I miss one sim (the past one) and I miss my one good International prospect to Mack. So sorry I can't be sad for your loss of Enrico. Why did it have to you that sim :(

  3. It's a good thing the trade deadline has passed, because I'm at the point in the season where I'd consider trading the face of my franchise, Ricky Peppers, for some pitching help.

  4. Thanks for your sympathy, Jeremy. Duly noted.

At the time of his injury, Hernandez had a streak of 20.2 scoreless innings and 18 innings without giving up a hit. With his injury and Stoker also going down for the season, I guess I'm glad I decided not to trade away any pitching at the deadline.

  5. Not mad at you Mack, just mad at myself for not having time during the week to check my team. And then not noticing that he was already on the open market this sim until after I offered him a minor league deal. Would have given him a ML deal if I had realized that so it was insult to injury, all self inflicted. And then on top of that the rich get richer making it even harder for the little fish to catch up.

  6. If it makes you feel better, your outfielder Iwasaki was originially found by my scout during this last offseason, but went on the market before he accepted my offer.

Since you ended up signing him, it's kind of like we traded the two guys. So, it all comes out in the wash.

  7. On a brighter note, Ohio started 5-13 and has gone 65-44 since then. It will be interesting to see if they can run down Saskatoon.
