  1. London is 13-1 to start the season, just as we all expected. :)

On another note, is anyone interested in acquiring MR Masatake Shibata? 32 years old. League minimum contract. 2.5* per my scout. Career 3.24 ERA over 75 major league innings. A decent back of the bullpen guy. He's out of option years and I want to move him so I can bring someone off the DL. Not looking for anything substantial in return.

  2. I'm not going to do anything over-reactive to my rotation... I'm not going to do anything over-reactive to my rotation... I'm not going to do anything over-reactive to my rotation... I'm not going to do anything over-reactive to my rotation...

    The good:

    London's sole loss? To Shackamaxon
Sherman Evanoff (an all-time Lenape great) found a home, and got paid
    My infield can flat-out hit
I'm on pace to score over 1,000 runs
My bullpen is going to be better

    The bad:
A lot of bad starts by my rotation so far
I'm on pace to give up over 1,000 runs.
Matt Stokes is hurt for two sims
My top prospects are off to mostly slow starts
    I got swept by Brick

  3. So, Michael, I hear you may be interested in acquiring some starting pitching...

  4. The first 2 weeks of the season: 2-9, outscored 50-80
Last 3 games: 3-0, outscoring my opponents 36-8

Maybe my team is heating up, or maybe Michael's pitching staff really is that bad (2 of the last 3 were against the Lenape)

  5. @Brian, you slander my pitching staff!

Your previous two games were against the other Philadelphia team, Chris's team.

My team pummeled Brooklyn, but did give up 20 runs in the two games (and 28 in the last three). Zev's team, however... 29 runs allowed in 16 innings against Shackamaxon, and 43 in their last three games, including one against Ohio.

So, my point is that my pitching is bad, but it's hardly alone.

  6. Ha, you're right! My jab is much less jabby now. I forgot we had another Philly team in this league now. Also, I don't have much room to talk about bad pitching....

  7. The season is what, 15 games long? Playoffs start next week right?

I think I started hot last year as well and then faded in the second half...
