The home stretch.

With just about two weeks left in the season, here's how we've been jockeying for position all year long:

  1. I'm a-gettin' nervous, Michael!

Now is it you or the investors I'm meeting on Monday doing it to me?

  2. Also, can I say how much I like these graphs. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

  3. Fear of the upcoming Cecil Cup matchup against the mighty Monarchs, no doubt.

  4. I've refrained from boasting about shaving another game off your lead, Nate, because, well, there isn't much time left.

We do have some head-to-head games together, but with Plunk now out for two weeks, I don't think I have the starters to go head-to-head with Wheeler and co. during our next two games.

    We shall see, though...

  5. 6 games left together, Michael. This could be a squeaker!

  6. I'm curious whom Mack is rooting for: You, for a chance to actually win a Cup, or me, for a chance to get revenge, but find a way again to fail miserably?

  7. I'm actually hoping the best players on each of your teams fall to injury while fighting it out, thus opening the door for me to cruise to the Cup title. It may be a weak way to win, but after my prior experiences, I'll take any win I can get. (laugh)

I actually think all three teams are pretty evenly matched, so I don't have a rooting interest based on who I think I'm more likely to beat. A championship would be sweet no matter who I beat to get there. And, a loss wouldn't be any better if it was to one of you rather than the other.

I have a slight preference for one team over the other based solely on the possibility of offseason deals I'd like to make, but I'm not going to show my hand on what those moves are, how I think that plays out, or who my preference is for.
