This goes in the category of now I have seen it all...in the June 3rd game between Cleveland and Danville, my closer Barksdale who has an endurance of 2 pitches a 7.2 inning SAVE!!!!! Way to go Barksdale.
Jeremy: I can't find the box score, but there was a game a few seasons ago when Junior Cuomo pitched something like 8.2 perfect innings in relief. That was the impetus for the failed Junior Cuomo Experiment as a starter in 2011.
Not a great sim but not horrible... it's annoying that I'm a game behind Michael now. I guess I'll take solace in the fact that my pythagorean record is five games better than him. I've also got a winning record against everybody but Nate.
Wow.
ReplyDeleteI deal away two stars, All Stars both, and I not only remain 7 back, but I go 10-4 on the sim. Let's see how long this lasts.

ReplyDeleteThe game does weird things sometimes.
Damn you, Danville! Perez hits Hukill with a pitch and breaks his jaw! The injury bug is killing me this year!
ReplyDeleteAt least I'm up two more games in the standings.
