Thanks to Frank, I found out that there is a new patch available (described at "definitely the final patch for OOTP9"). The new patch upgrades the game to 9.2.11. However, there's a catch... the in-game upgrade tool doesn't recognize the new patch. To get the new patch (which was released on 12/12) you have to download it from the site. The sim is still in progress. I'll advise when it's done.
