  1. Again, for the third sim in a row, my #4 and #5 starters have carried the load, now sitting at 9-0, overall.

And Frank Wooster has become a monster. He's gone from reasonable three-star starter to 4.5 star monster according to my scout. Given his numbers:

    W/L 5-0
    ERA 3.26
    WHIP 0.87
    K/BB 36/7 (5.14-1)

    It just might be true.

Anyone else have this happen to a player so far?

  2. Is there something odd going on with the waiver wire?
I put MR Farrier on the waiver wire / DFA on my last update for this past sim. Now when I look at the file, he's cleared waivers... but nobody would have had a chance to claim him?

Do we need to make the waiver period longer than 15 days?

  3. I can't believe I forgot to update my team. I had planned to move Alustiza to the DL and let Bivens come up to the majors and get some starts. Oh well. Things just keep trucking along for the Monarchs otherwise.

  4. Waivers are a real issue with sims longer than the period as it means that no one ever has a chance to claim other than a computer player.

We had the same sort of issue with the 15 day disabled list when we were running 14 days sims. The 15 days ones fit better.

  5. I have not found anyone over performing like that Nate, but some of my young batters are adjusting nicely to the Majors...my pitchers on the other hand are not developing nicely...I thought with so many young pitcher at least 2 or 3 would work out...back to the drawing board.

I do have a question about scouting. My socut's report date is still April 1st...is that the same for everyone else? or do you guys have a more current scout report available to you?

  6. I have the same scouting date you do, Jeremy. I think though that you can request individual scouting reports. I don't know how they relate to the annual ones though.

  7. I uploaded a change but I'll be away with limited connectivity from Wednesday through Saturday to see the MIL.

    Wish me luck.

  8. And with that, I'd like to say that I'm open to trade discussion of all kinds. No one is strictly nonavailable, although Paul Shunk is very unlikely to move. Otherwise, though, I'm wide open.
