Schedule Fail

I worked on the schedule and it seems to work fine... with one problem.

The game will not allow you to implement a schedule once spring training has started. That being the case, I'm afraid we may have to stick with the unbalanced schedule for this season and put the new schedule in place for next season.

Of course, if there are some other suggestions, I'm always open to hearing them. Otherwise, I think we should go on with the rest of Spring Training.

  1. I have 27 home games against River Cities and only 6 away games. The exact opposite of last season, so I am ok with this :)

  2. Yes, yes you will, but now I will have a fighting chance...

  3. I'd support a rollback to before Spring Training in the interest of ... uh ... fairness. Yeah, that's it! Fairness. That way we get a fair schedule. (What? I'd get Guerrero back too? What an amazing coincidence!)

As long as everyone plays 81 home games and 81 road games, it will all balance out in the end. I don't care about the split for individual teams that much.

Roll back to the preseason, move ahead, it's all good to me. Let's just get going!

  4. I am fine with either suggestion; I'd just like us to get moving.

Also, I use the 7-day lineup option during spring training, based on Zev's prior comment that we would be doing ST one week at a time. Jeremy asked in another thread if we can finish ST in a single sim. I would prefer to keep the original schedule, but if the plan is now to complete the rest of ST in a single sim, please let me know so that I can upload a new file.

  5. At a minimum do it all over three sims in a week or something. We need to finish this thing off and get into the regular season.

  6. I'd be fully in favor of doing whatever gets the league rolling along faster. We've ground to a halt and I know it's starting to affect people's interest levels.

But, if whatever we do can bring Guerrero back to life by rolling back to the start of Spring Training and then fixing the schedule, I'm totally ok with that too. For obvious and completely self-interested reasons.
