Answer to Last Week's Trivia Question:
Who are the only two players to play more than 1100 for two different teams?

I'm kind of surprised that no one took a stab at this one.  After all there aren't too many players who have played at least 2200 games and both answers are Hall of Famers.

The answers are:  Eddie Collins, who played 1156 games for the Philadelphia A's and 1670 games for the Chicago White Sox and Dave Winfield, who played 1172 games for the Yankees and 1117 for the Padres.

This Week's Trivia Question:
Who is the only person to play 165 games in a Major League Baseball season?

Next sim:  Next Wednesday.

  1. 165 games in a season? Had to be somebody who was good enough to play everyday, and also got traded during the season I'm guessing. With maybe one of those 1 game tiebreaker deals at the end? Gonna give it some thought, but I suppose it'll just end up being a wild guess.

  2. I hope you saved that screenshot, Tom. :)

I can't think of a player, but I think the situation that answers Zev's question is when there was a series played overseas in Korea or Japan a week or so before the rest of the MLB regular season began. So, a player played 3 games there, and then joined another team mid-season and played in three extra games with his new team.
