Welcome to Opening Day!
The first sim of the new season (our 30th!) will be done on Wednesday night.
Please, please, please, please make sure that your active roster is down to 25 players before the sim is run. Please don't put me in the position of having to send down/release your players to make sure the sim is run. If you do not have access to the game, please feel free to send an email to Michael and myself with instructions and we will execute them for you.
With that, there is only one thing left to say -- PLAY BALL!

What was the final decision on age brackets for minor league teams? When does the Low A roster have to be set?
ReplyDeleteThe age limits in the minor leagues are:
DeleteAAA - no limit
AA - 27
A - 24
A- - 22
What that means is that you cannot assign a player who is too old to AA, A, and A-. If a player is currently older than the league allows, he can stay there throughout the 2031 season, but must be moved up (or out) when the Offseason starts in October, 2031.
As we switched from pro service years to age limits, there is no deadline for the A- roster: set it whenever you want. Games start on June 16th after the draft on June 1st, and players will be promoted from the international complex as they turn 20.
Remember that the roster size limit is 35 in each of the four minor leagues.
