As previously reported when I download the file I don't see anything following game two. I let it go last time to see if a new game would shake things up but no luck.
I have deleted the existing league file on my hard drive and redownloaded. No luck.
I changed the name of the league file on my hard drive and downloaded. No luck.
I deleted the game on my hard drive and reinstalled it. At that point when I downloaded and unzipped the game thought it was February, 2009. THEN it though it was just after game two.
I need help, here, gentlemen. I literally can't make changes to the game at this point.
Hold on... I'll delete the file off the FTP server, and resend a new file.
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth, I downloaded the game file about 15 minutes ago and it also came up for me as after Game 2 (i.e., River Cities leading 2-0).
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't bother me much though. If I have any changes, I'll just drop Zev an email, if that's ok.
Hold on. It was one thing when it was just happening to Nate. It's another thing altogether if it's happening to both of you.
ReplyDeleteI moved the game to a new computer this week, and that could be the source of the problem.
I'm going to have to look into this.

Talk about screwy! It's definitely a problem on my end.
ReplyDeleteI copied the SDMBLeague6.lg folder to another folder and named is xyz.lg. I then zipped up the xyz.lg folder, deleted the folder, extracted the zipped league and found that the league was back to 2-0.
But the real league is at 2-2. Odd!

So it's NOT just me? That's a relief. This morning I completely uninstalled OOTP 6.5 and 6.0 then rebooted then reinstalled them and still nothing. I was beginning to worry.
ReplyDeleteI should point out that another piece of data that it's not on my end is that I can d/l updated files fine on my other two leagues, though.
It was me. I was running afoul of a Windows Vista security feature.
ReplyDeleteI have to head to work, but I'll post more about it when I get there.
