Zev: I also picked up South Bay's third round pick in a trade for Everett Brister and Adam Beall on 2/13/2009.
ReplyDeleteThe third round is a Seattle kind of round this year.
Wasn't that last year's draft, where you picked up Randall Larsen?

I think it must be, because I don't see a trade in 2008 where you got SB's 3rd round pick.

Look at the 2009 Almanac transactions page at 2/13/2009. You'll see a deal where Beall and Brister were sent to South Bay in exchange for Dade (a throw-in player to make the deal work) and a third-round pick. It was after the 2009 draft had been held and was a trade for Michael's 2010 pick. When I get the chance, I'll dig up the email and re-send it to you.
ReplyDeleteLarsen was my own pick, which was 36th because the game couldn't flip River Cities and I even though Nate won the Cecil Cup the year before.
Confirmed. I found the email.
