Hello there everyone,
My name is Jeremy Goldman, and I am the new owner of Covington.
I am ready to make this franchise something great and I am willing to do whatever it takes to make it great.
If you are interested in helping me out (and yourself) I am looking for prospects. My team is not good now, but with your help it will be in a few seasons.
My e-mail is: jgoldman99@yahoo.com
My AIM is: jsg3c
My yahooIM is the same as the e-mail
Hope to hear from you soon.
Jeremy
PS I will be moving the team soon...need a fresh start!!!!
Welcome aboard, Jeremy!
ReplyDeleteOver here I am the Los Angeles Scorpions, aka, the greatest team in league history.
Our mutual moral enemy is the River City Puddledwellers, who have besmirched the great Zotti League two seasons running by losing to Seattle in the Cecil Cup.
Best of luck here, and do come calling for your trading needs.
Err, our mortal enemy.
ReplyDeleteI have nothing but respect for Nate's morals. His ability to beat Seattle, on the other hand, is laughable.
That's 'Sternwheelers', my non-observant friend. Wake up, Bueller!
ReplyDeleteJeremy already knows me through the other league and me being the one who brought him into this one. Welcome aboard anyway, Jeremy! Pay no attention to that low life from LA! I know whereof LA speaks.
Jeremy:
ReplyDeleteI know you already know this from the OEL league, but I am compelled to provide this advice to all new SDMB OOTP owners:
Nate cannot be trusted. Neither can Michael. Neither of them has your best interests at heart in any dealings.
I, on the other hand, am a model of virtue and selflessness. I only have your best interests at heart.
Mack,
ReplyDeleteNate told me not to trust you.
Now I don't know who to trust.
What am I to do???
Well, I am in a different league than you and there's no interleague play. So, I have no problem making you a better team. No skin off my back.
ReplyDeleteCan Nate or Michael say the same thing? Huh? Can they?
Of course, it could be that we're all full of $#&%. That's a plausible theory too.
Jeremy: Our collective goal each year, as Zotti League owners, is to beat the Adams League representative in the Cecil Cup. That's it. No individual awards, no pythagorean records. Just Cups.
ReplyDeleteWe've played nine seasons in this league. Five times the good guys have won the Cup; four times the bad guys have.
So, whatever you do, don't let us down and help Seattle. They're catching up with us, and we can't let that happen. Nate has proven unworthy of being able to consistently beat the Adams League (he's 1-for-3 in the Cup; I'm 4-for-5), so keep that in mind as you do your initial dealings.
