  1. Gah. Three losses by a total of four runs. I didn't expect to win this series, but close games are much more frustrating to process than getting blown out of the building. I'm getting generally good work out of my starting pitching, but my bats are asleep (we miss you, Paul Shunk!) and Jefferson Theriault really needs to stop being the number one option out of the pen.

  2. The four games in the Saskatoon-Maui series have been decided by a total of eight runs. The four games in the Hickory-Seattle series have been decided by a total of just five runs.

These are very, very close games and very close series.

  3. Frustrating to say the least! I was third in the league in runs scored this year, and yet I've only managed to score a total of 5 runs in 4 games - and been shut out twice. Quite the rotation you've got there, Eric.

Well, I managed to come from a 3-1 deficit to win a series in the OEL, so maybe this is my year for improbable comebacks!
